🏆 We are so excited and honored to be named the Newton County Chamber of Commerce's August Small Business of the Month! 🐾

When we bought the kennel five years ago, our goal was simple: to create a place where every dog is cared for like our own, and owners can have peace of mind knowing their dogs are in loving hands while they're away. We know that leaving your furry family member with someone else is an act of trust, and we have never taken that responsibility lightly.

This recognition isn't just ours—it belongs to every family who has trusted us with their dogs, shared kind words about their experience, and recommended us to their friends, neighbors, and loved ones. Your referrals have allowed our small business to grow in ways we could have only dreamed of.

📢 PSA to All Newton County Residents 📢

Please take a moment to review our flyer regarding owner surrenders.

While we would love to be able to accept every owner surrender request, the reality is that our limited kennel space must be reserved for truly lost, stray, and displaced animals who urgently need our help. We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances do happen, and we evaluate those situations on a case-by-case basis whenever possible.

However, pet ownership comes with the responsibility of providing for and, if necessary, finding a new home for your animal. As difficult as that process can be, it is ultimately the responsibility of the owner to make every effort to safely rehome their pet before turning to the shelter system.

By working together as a community, we can help keep animals out of overcrowded shelters and reduce the stress and uncertainty they experience when entering the shelter environment.

If you need to rehome your pet, please review the information below for resources and options that may help you find a safe and loving new home.

Is this how your dog looks at you when you pick up the nail clippers? This is the look I get from mine if I even glance at his paws, much less attempt to trim his nails. We literally have to drug him if we want to have them done. I hate that. I'm looking for recommendations. If you have a pup who is, let's say. less than cooperative, where do you take them for nail trims?
