Turbo is still in need of a home. Please share to help find him one.

Turbo is a 2 year old male Border Collie. His owner was moving and he was shelter bound. Some Good Samaritans intercepted and he is currently being fostered in Irvine. He’s neutered and up to date on shots. Because he’s been kept in the backyard his entire life, he is a little shy at first. Warms up very quickly. Very smart,
active, and a sweet boy. He has been
socialized the other dogs in his foster home and has improved. Looking for a family with some breed experience
or willing to have a little patience to work with him. If interested, contact Sisan @ 951-264-6801.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Today is all about love and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by sharing a very special senior who is ready for his second chance at it.

Meet Copper, a 12-year-old, 12lb chocolate poodle who was surrendered to the shelter and was placed on the euthanasia list. We got him just in time.
Copper arrived with quite a list: cataracts in both eyes, severe dental disease, a heart murmur, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, loss of appetite, circling behavior (likely cognitive decline), and a kiwi-sized tumor on his tail.

By the time we picked him up, his appetite had returned, his GI issues were improving, and he had already won over the shelter staff.

As soon as he was in our care, we took Copper to the vet. He has had his tail surgically removed and the tumor sent for biopsy. His dental was completed with no extractions needed; lab work came back pretty good for a 12-year-old boy; X-rays showed no additional tumors; medication has helped regulate his stool, and trazodone has significantly reduced his circling and pacing.

Despite everything he’s been through, Copper is incredibly sweet, friendly, and surprisingly active. He loves his walks, his naps, and mealtime most of all. He gets along with other dogs but mostly keeps to himself. He’s potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go out. We use a belly band at night since he occasionally has accidents overnight. He rests well and happily lets you know when he’s ready to start his day.

Once we know more about his remaining medical needs, we hope to find either a loving foster home willing to care for this special boy or, even better, a forever family who has a soft spot for seniors. Copper deserves a second chance at a safe, loving home where he can live out his golden years surrounded by kindness.

If you are able to contribute toward Copper’s ongoing medical expenses and care, we would be deeply grateful.

Say hello to Bandit and Velvet. Two adorable siblings who were rescued from a backyard during a horrendous rain storm. The homeowners heard cries coming from the bushes and it took a few days to trap the two little ones and bring them in. They believe they were born in early October 2025. Bandit (male) is  adventurous and playful while Velvet (female) is quiet and reserved. They will respond to human contact, often with the help of a toy or feather. Both are about 4lbs and eating well.
They are up to date on shots but are due for his neuter/spay surgery and microchip in another month. If you are looking for a cute little kitten to be a part of your home or have any questions, contact us at [email protected].

Say hello to these 2 adorable brothers, Maximus and Juba, our little gladiators. Born on April 24th, 2025, to a feral mom, they fought hard to survive those 1st hours. The cat mom, as well as their foster mom, did a great job helping them overcome several obstacles to become completely healthy, lovable rascals.

They are extremely comfortable with humans as they were handled within hours of birth. Maximus loves to be with his human, whike Juba is a little bit more independent. They are fostered with other cats, have been around dogs, and are good with them. With their kitten energy, they will entertain you with their acrobatic antics as they explore moments, sounds, and smells they encounter. They are playful, curious, sweet little cuties. These youngsters are litter trained, have all their vaccines, are neutered and microchipped.

Since Juba and Maximus are bonded, we are looking to adopt them out together. You will welcome 2 brothers who already know each other, get along very well, and can entertain each other for hours. Who can resist these precious boys? If you are interested or want more information, please contact us at [email protected].
