We have been quiet for a while busy with work and life but we are back and have some updated pics of the 3 gallon nano reef! With the addition of 5.5 pounds of live rock and a protein skimmer this little clown fish tank is doing great!

Tip of the week! Not everything for an aquarium can be purchased exactly as you may need it. This is a nano protein skimmer I am building for a 3 gallon reef tank. Protein skimmers are essential for any saltwater tank. Remember, if you can't buy it, build it! Pictures of the completed skimmer coming soon!

Hi guys! It's Tuesday and your tip of the week is to always pay attention to how much your reef ecosystem eats during feeding. It's best to feed in small increments and multiple times. Not every animal consumes it's needed amount of food in one feeding. By breaking down the amount you feed and slightly increasing the times you feed, you can ensure you're animals eat the right amount to thrive while not adding excess waste to the system!
