Katie Daoud rode Gof Oakland to a ribbon-winning round in an astoundingly competitive open class at New England Equitation Championships today. This young horse is, quite literally, a shining star 💫🖤.

Best of luck to Katie Daoud & Gof Oakland in tomorrow's Adult 28-45 Medal at New England Equitation Championships 🎉🖤🍀

Could not have had a more perfect weather day for the Folly Classic! Special thanks to Lori-Ann Archambault for getting three of our horses there and back safely today, and Brittney Watras for lending Grace a rockstar of a pony for leadline and for running more than any adult should have to in a leadline class🥵🤣.

❤ Brigid M. & Brinley Farr s most perfect Posh Ponytails PomPom were 2nd in the Leadline Classic.

💛 Grace D. & Folly Farm's Hope were third in the Leadline Classic. Great first catch ride, Grace!

❤ Laura Ray & her Burnished had a Reserve Champion day in the Training Hunters. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Laura!🎉

💓🤍 Kayla McGee & Nortorious were 9th in the 2.6 Hunt & Go and finished 5th in the 2.6 Child/Adult Equitation Class. Notorious brought all 32 of his personalities to the horse show today, and this kid rode every single one with a smile on her face.

💙 Kasi Ray & Burnished finished Champion of the Adult/Junior EQUITATION division. She even sat in the tack at the canter on the flat. 💪

💛💛 MaryKate Pestana & Marley Platosh --or should we say VIVIAN'S-- Rolltide had matching 3rd place results in the 3ft Hunt & Go and the 3ft Equitation Classic. This mare jumped her dang socks off today!

💛 Sydney & Macenzie Ingenito Nauck Sanniboy debuted in the Jumper classic today, finishing an impressive 3rd in a fast and tidy jump off. Great job!

💙 Katie Daoud & BK Imports, LLC Dirty Pop ended our day WINNING the Jumper Classic. It has been one heck of journey the past 11 months with this little horse. His heart is five times his size! Watching him settle back into his body and believe in himself and the people around him has been so, so special.

Thanks to Tess G & Kim Koran Goudreau for the fun pictures and their help, and thanks to Alyssa Gagnon for the moral support to all our equines!

A gorgeous fall day at Mystic Valley Hunt Club for ABF today!

🏆GoF Oakland & Katie Daoud were Reserve Champion in a competitive Adult Equitation division and won the CHJA Medal. This horse is a rising star in the equitation ring, and he even rose to the occasion filling the NEHC with Kasi Ray in Katie's too-long pedals, earning a red ribbon in that class. Oakland just TRIES. Every. Single. Round.

🤎 Burnished & Kasi Ray were also Reserve Champion in their Training Hunter division. No one at the in-gate could believe how BIG this young horse's stride is. Berndog just eats it all up!

🥰Scofield & his favorite kid, Reese, had moments of brilliance and moments of laughter in their Training Hunter classes today. Some days you literally win them all, and other days you have to use the restroom anddddddddd stop to aggresively scratch the bug on top of your hip🤷‍♀️🤣. It's hard to kick when you're laughing!

It's always a pleasure to stand ringside and be with these horses & riders. On to the Folly Classic next weekend! And I promise I'll make someone take actual good pictures🤦‍♀️

Well, we all woke up this morning with one plan for our day at The Pines, buttttt we ended up pivoting and going with Plan B...and Plan B did not disappoint!

🏆Reese L. & Scofield were Champions in the Pre-Children's Equitation with their best flat class to date!

🏅MaryKate & Rolltide were Champions in a competitive Adult Hunter Division!

🎖Kasi R. & Burnished won every jumping trip in their Training Hunter Division! I don't know how we didn't get a picture of this fella, but enjoy a cute one of his 🍑 schooling at home.

Tess G. And Autumn Farr 's Posh Practical Magic scored ribbons in both of her finals last week. The only thing that goes better than silver & gold is pink on a Barbie pony💅.

Our final day at CHJA-Connecticut Hunter & Jumper Association Medal Finals was a successful one!

Eliza C. borrowed Scofield 🏇🏿and rode to a 12th place finish in the Children's Equitation Final! Thank you Morgan Greer for being so great to work with a producing a nice young rider!

Tess G. and Posh Practical Magic 💛 continued their winning partnership and placed 9th in the Pre-Children's Equitation Final, moving up two spots on the flat--not surprising as this pair spent an entire year getting to know each other well on the flat before starting the 2ft divisions this season.

Grace D. also made her CHJA debut in the inaugural Leadline Spectacular. This kid...this pony...TOO CUTE.💗

Katie Daoud & Gof Oakland took on the Master's Medal at CHJA finals this morning. They went third in the order and improved in every area from their performance yesterday! An unlucky slip on wet grass at the end of the ring caused them to miss the flat phase by 1 pt, but still a stellar round for a horse's first ever equitation final! We're so proud of this team and the work they've put in this summer. Onto Zone 1 finals, NEHC, and Tyron for this pair!🖤
