Strong foundations start with the little things! 🐴

Our three foals get daily handling, learning patience, respect, and confidence along the way. Good habits today make for better partners tomorrow! ❤️

What a nice set of papers on a flashy roan c**t🤩

You never know what color a roan will be from one season to the next! 🤣 Frosted Rebel Yeller (Walker) is currently sporting the red roan skunk look, complete with a white stripe down his back! 🦨😂🐴

And rounding out our feral broodmare collection... quite literally... is Stylish! 🤣❤️

Tapeppyoka Stylish is looking round, pregnant, and already tired of the whole situation. And she's still got months to go! 😂

But don't let that tired mama look fool you. This girl has some credentials of her own! She's an NCHA money earner, and we're pretty excited about her upcoming 2027 foal by Metallics MVP! 🔥

We haven't had the pleasure of raising one of her babies yet, but we're sure looking forward to this first one!

For now, we'll just let her enjoy her pasture time, grow that baby, and perfect her "is it time yet?" expression. 🤣

The feral broodmare parade continues! 🤣❤️

Next up is **CWF Red Zanalyst (Dixie)**, who is looking a little more round than feral these days!

She's already sporting quite the baby belly, and she's still got a ways to go! Apparently nobody told her we're not even close to foaling season yet. 😂

Her latest foal has already found a new home, and we're looking forward to welcoming her **2027 foal by Metallic Cattack - Ruby Buckle, Riata Buckle & Royal Crown!** 🔥

Dixie is one of those steady, dependable mares we appreciate so much around here. No drama, no nonsense, just a good-minded mare doing her thing. ❤️

Apparently feral broodmare season is in full swing around here! 🤣Some mares are sweet and cuddly. And then there's Tilly. 🤣❤️

Living her best feral broodmare life and looking pretty darn good doing it!

She's already given us Nosey Badger, and we're pretty excited about what she's cooking up for 2027 — a foal by Metallic Cattack - Ruby Buckle, Riata Buckle & Royal Crown! 🔥

Good looks, a whole lot of personality, and some exciting babies coming from this girl!

Nosey Badger’s turn in the spotlight! 🤎

Aka- "Blackfoot" is our 2026 AQHA bay c**t by Hired Gun and out of CWF Hickofadancer, known around here as Tilly.

Tilly has experience in ranch classes, NCHA cutting, trail riding, and the beginning stages of heading. We’ve enjoyed riding her ourselves, which makes watching her first foal grow especially meaningful.

Blackfoot leads, loads, and ties, and is beginning lunging and learning to pick up his feet. We like him as a ranch horse and cow horse prospect and look forward to seeing him develop.

Who says broodmares have to look glamorous? 🤣❤️

Lizzie is out here sporting her best feral broodmare look, but don't let that wild hair fool you!

This girl is about as sweet and soft-mannered as they come. She firmly believes every trip to the pasture should include a good scratching session. ❤️

She's already given us Gun Hired To Play (Pistol) and Frosted Rebel Yeller (Walker), and we're excited to see what she produces in 2027 with One Shiney Metallic !🔥

Good-minded mares are the foundation of what we do, and Lizzie is a pretty special part of ours.

First to the gate, first in line for scratches—that’s Traveller. ❤️

This 2026 AQHA sorrel rabicano c**t is by And Steel and out of Ms Zanawhite, our mare Heidi. His registered name is still pending, but around here, Traveller fits him just fine.

He’s a quick learner who tries to please and takes time to think through new things. He leads, loads, and ties, and is beginning lunging and learning to pick up his feet.

We like him as a ranch horse prospect, with cow breeding behind him and a willing personality we enjoy working with.

Welcome to Circle W Livestock!

We’re a family-owned ranch in Courtland, Alabama, where horses are part of our everyday life—from cattle work and trail miles to time in the show pen.

Our AQHA breeding program brings together proven sires and seasoned ranch mares, with a focus on trainability, soundness, and versatility. We know our mares beyond their pedigrees—we’ve ridden them, learned alongside them, and come to appreciate what each brings to our program.

We raise foals and develop riding horses with ranch horse and everyday performance homes in mind. Ranch events are at the heart of our interests, with bloodlines and abilities that also lend themselves to cutting, reined cow horse, roping, and barrels.

Here, we share our horses, their progress, and the stories behind them. We’re glad you’re along for the ride!
