I’ve been sick(too much), had a surgery, and other things have come up and you have all been so kind and understanding!
This week i had to cancel 4/5 days of dogs and everyone has been SO kind to me! I appreciate each and every one of you!

After my cat just got skunked I thought I would put out a little PSA!

🚨 SKUNKED PET PSA — READ THIS FIRST 🚨

If your dog (or any pet) gets sprayed by a skunk DO NOT start with water.
Water spreads the skunk oil and locks the smell in.

👉 What to do immediately:

1️⃣ Cover the sprayed area in BAKING SODA
Rub it in thoroughly. Let it sit as long as you can.
This step matters — baking soda absorbs the skunk oil.

2️⃣ Spray with VINEGAR
Yes, it will fizz. That’s normal.
This helps break down the odor-causing oils.

3️⃣ Apply MORE baking soda and rub again
You’re trying to absorb as much oil as possible before water ever touches them.

4️⃣ Only after that — bathe your pet(you can also use dawn dish soap after vinigar and before pet shampoo)

⚠️ Never ever start with water when deskunking.
Skunk odor is oil-based. If you rinse first, you spread it and make it harder to remove.

-Payment will be due on day of apt unless you’ve made arrangements with me. No exceptions!

-If your dog is matted-it will be shaved. If it is so severe it needs to be shaved please expect to pay $100+

-I will be accepting a limited amount of new dogs this year!
