Are you doing some fall purging at home? We would be happy to accept any new or gently used towels and blankets! As you can imagine with over 200 animals at any given time, we go through A LOT!!

We can not use sheets, comforters, heated blankets, pillow cases, and pillows.

Donations can be dropped off at 1020 Railroad Avenue during business hours of 12-6pm weekdays and 11am-5pm Saturdays 😻

A big shoutout to Oakland Veterinary Clinic!

We are so grateful for our partnership with the team at Oakland Veterinary Clinic! They have performed over 100 procedures for MHS animals at their clinic since June, helping us get our animals ready for adoption and their next chapter.

Clara came to us as a mama cat, busy raising her babies and making sure they had everything they needed. Now her kittens are all grown up and ready to start their own adventures, and it’s finally Clara’s turn!

Clara is a sweet, sensitive girl who is ready for a loving forever home where she can relax and be the center of attention.

Rico and Rufus are currently in foster homes, while Nano is still at the shelter waiting for his turn.

Meet Kasey!

Kasey is an 8-year-old Chocolate Lab mix, but don’t let that number fool you, this girl has plenty of pep in her step! She’s spry, happy, and always ready to see what adventure is waiting around the corner.

Kasey recently got to participate in our Roam with a Rescue program, and she had an absolute blast! She loved getting out of the shelter, exploring, and showing off what a fun adventure buddy she can be.

If you’re looking for a sweet girl who is still ready to get out and enjoy life with you, Kasey might just be your girl!
