A f***l exam is a routine lab test that checks your pet’s stool for intestinal parasites that aren’t visible to the naked eye.
Even pets that seem healthy can carry parasites like:
• Roundworms
• Hookworms
• Whipworms
• Tapeworms
• Giardia
• Coccidia
Many pets do not show symptoms, and parasites can be picked up from soil, grass, water, other animals, or shared environments like parks and daycare.
📅 We recommend testing:
• At least once a year for adult pets
• More frequently for puppies, kittens, or pets with higher exposure risks
Some intestinal parasites can also affect people, which is why routine testing matters for the whole household.
Preventive care helps catch problems early — before pets get sick and before treatment becomes more complicated.
