🚨GREAT NEWS! She is safe!!

This little girl got away with her leash attached while on a walk with her grandpa. She is not near her home so she is unfamiliar with the surroundings.

Please be on the lookout for her, but DO NOT try to catch or follow her. Call the number on the flier ASAP with as many details as possible. Thank you for sharing.

🚨GREAT NEWS! After 5 days, this sweet boy is finally safe and back home with his family.

After finally getting a sighting and photo this evening, the family and Lost K9 team rushed to the area he had been spotted. Stitch was briefly spotted in a fenced backyard but got startled and slipped out under a gate.

Thankfully, another caller soon reported seeing him hiding under a vehicle nearby. His owner carefully pulled over a short distance away, opened the automatic passenger door of their van and Stitch jumped right in.

See pictures in comments.

This little guy was lost yesterday from his "home away from home". That means he is somewhat familiar with the area but it's not where he lives.

Please keep your eyes open for him. If you have an outdoor security camera, please check from the day he was lost.

He is very scared so please do not yell, whistle or try to catch him; instead, call the number on the flier ASAP with as many details as possible (cross streets, side of the road & what direction he was going). Thank you for sharing.

🚨GREAT NEWS! This little guy found his way into the trap at 11:30 pm last night. He is literally the sweetest & probably only about 15 lbs. He was so calm, even after the door slammed shut, he just turned back to eat the food. (Video & pictures in comments).

He did NOT have a microchip. His fur was extremely matted & he was very dirty. He fell asleep in the front seat of the car while a decision was made on what to do next. The home owner, aka Wiley’s angel, is by his side as he sleeps safe & sound in a kennel in their heated garage.

Thank you to everyone that looked out for him & shared the flier.

This little guy has been hanging out in the same neighborhood for a few days. Please do not approach, try to catch or put food out for him. We have a plan to safely & humanely trap him.

🚨GREAT NEWS! Milo is safe!!

We think Milo decided that he was tired from running so much and he let a good samaritan pick him up and a Police Officer brought him to PUPS last night. The family got the call today letting them know they were pretty confident that Milo was now at their facility.

See the reunion video and pictures in the comments.

Milo escaped from his yard while on a potty break this morning. He has medical needs and is very skittish. Please DO NOT chase, whistle or follow him. Please call or text the number on the flier if you see him. Thank you for sharing.

🚨GREAT NEWS! Athena was safely trapped just before 9 pm tonight. Her family waited close by & patiently. We are very thankful for a new friend, Laura and her sweet dog Sampson, who have been keeping their eye on Athena for the last few days.

As soon as we found out she had fed her, we knew she’d be back so we set the trap up this afternoon and even though it was raining, she came back and made sure she ate all the food. She is a sweet, beautiful dog and we are happy that we could help her. Pictures included & video in comments.

Athena was lost near her family's home in Lexington just before midnight on Friday, May 15th. Someone picked her up and brought her home with plans of bringing her to a vet in the morning to scan for a microchip. Unfortunately, when they got to their home in C**n Rapids, she escaped.

We know the area she has been hanging out since she got lost, so we need everyone to leave her alone. If you see her, just call or text the number. Thank you for sharing.

🚨Update: Great news! Janie was trapped early this morning. Other than being wet and cold she appears to be in good condition. Thank you for all of the sightings and sharing. Pic in comments.

Janie has been seen running loose in Mahtomedi for a few days. She is in survival mode and afraid of everything. We have a plan to capture her, but we need her to stay in one location. Please do not call to her or attempt to catch her, she will run away. If you live near Southwest Park or the Fed Ex area, please check your cameras. Report any sightings that have happened in the last few days. Thank you for sharing to local social media sights.

🚨UPDATE: Pixie is safe!!!

The family went out this morning after receiving a phone call that she was seen. They took one of the family dogs, Maxine, with and parked down the road and slowly approached her. They let Maxine jump out of the car and Pixie recognized her so they both jumped back into the car. She is now home safe and sound.

Thank you to everyone that kept their eyes open, shared sightings and shared this post. Pictures included.

🐾 REUNITED: Bunnie is Home! 🐾
We are overjoyed to announce that Bunnie was safely reunited with his family at 2:30 PM today! He is happy, healthy, and exactly where he belongs.

However, Bunnie’s journey home was much longer than it needed to be, and his story serves as a vital lesson for our community: A "Found Dog" is NOT a "Free Dog."

What Happened to Bunnie?
Bunnie slipped out of his yard in Brooklyn Center and was picked up by a passerby just a few blocks from his home. Instead of reporting the dog to local authorities, the finder drove him to her home in Apple Valley.

Because the finder didn't contact the police or post on social media, Bunnie’s family spent days searching in agony. It was only by chance that the finder’s daughter saw our physical signs in Brooklyn Center today and realized the "new dog" at her mother’s house already had a family.

📢 Public Service Announcement: If You Find a Dog...
To ensure every lost pet has the best chance of getting home, please remember these rules:

Don't Relocate: Never take a dog out of the city where it was found. Owners start their search in the immediate neighborhood.

The Law & Ethics: Taking a dog home without reporting it can be considered "theft by finding." A dog without a collar is not an "abandoned" dog; it’s a lost family member.

Call the Authorities: Immediately notify the local police or animal control in the city where the dog was found. This is the first place owners call.

Scan for a Microchip: Bring the dog to any local vet or shelter. They will scan for a chip for free.

Post Locally: Use Nextdoor and Facebook "Lost and Found" groups for the specific area where the dog was spotted.

Remember: Your "good deed" of taking a dog in can unintentionally become a "dog-napping" if you don't follow the proper steps to find the owner.

We are so thankful Bunnie is safe, but let’s use this as a reminder to help pets get home faster! ❤️🐾

This little guy was visiting with his family & staying at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bloomington when he got scared and slipped out of his harness. He's lost in the Bloomington/Edina area, which is very busy so please keep a close eye on the roads when you are driving in that area.

As always, please DO NOT chase, follow or try to catch him; instead, please call the number on the flier with as many details ASAP.

Thank you for sharing this & sending positive thoughts for this little guy's safety.
