The Costa Mesa Senior Center has partnered with Meals on Wheels OC and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County to operate multiple food assistance programs at no cost to Costa Mesaโ€™s senior citizens. These programs include: a curbside meal pick-up of frozen meals; home delivery of frozen meals to qualifying seniors; and a weekly grocery program.

The team provided a box of groceries to 145 seniors yesterday morning while wearing their masks and practicing social distancing. Since these programs began in March, more than 5,000 meals have been distributed to local seniors.

To learn about the schedules of these programs and how to enroll in them, please call the Costa Mesa Senior Center at (714) 327-7550.
