THE HEART BEHIND AWCOC. 🐾💙

You see us at appointments, in the pool, working through exercises, celebrating milestones - and occasionally handing out a few extra treats. 😉

But behind every part of AWCOC is a team of people who genuinely care about the pets and families who walk through our doors.

Our Client Appreciation Event gave us the chance to step outside of our usual routine and simply spend time with so many of you. And we loved every minute of it.

But those relationships aren’t just something you see at an event.
They’re built here every single day.

They’re in the little wins we celebrate with you. The familiar faces we’re excited to see walk through the door. The patients we get ridiculously attached to. And the privilege of being part of your pet’s journey. 🐶

This is the team behind the practice.
This is the heart of AWCOC. 💙

And we’re pretty lucky to have the community we do.

Good Pets. Great People. Stronger Together.

🐾 HAPPY SATURDAY!

When your therapist says “Movement is Medicine”… but all you hear is “BALL PIT!” 😂🎾

Around here, movement doesn’t always have to feel like work. Sometimes it looks like exploring, playing, building confidence and staring very seriously at a giant pile of tennis balls while deciding where to begin. 😂

Because the best kind of movement?

The kind that gets tails wagging. 💙🐾

Movement is Medicine.
(And so is a ball pit!)

Happy Saturday from AWCOC!

🐾 THE BEST PART OF OUR CLIENT APPRECIATION EVENT?

It wasn’t the tacos. 🌮
It wasn’t the raffles. 🎟️
And it wasn’t even all the adorable dogs who came to celebrate with us.

IT WAS ZELDA FINDING HER FOREVER HOME! 🏡💙

Our Client Appreciation Event turned into an extra-special celebration when Zelda was adopted!

Of all the wonderful moments from that day, this is one we’ll remember for a long time.

We’re so happy for Zelda and her new family, and we can’t wait to see what her next chapter brings.

Sometimes the best event highlights come with four paws and a happily ever after. 🥹🐾

Help us congratulate Zelda and her new family!

Drop ❤️ in the comments!

🐾 THE GREAT DOG DEBATE! 😂

We have a VERY important question for our OC dog parents…

DOES YOUR DOG SLEEP IN YOUR BED? 🛏️🐶

💙 TEAM YES: It’s their bed. I just pay for it.

💛 TEAM NO: They have their own bed, their own blankets and possibly a better sleeping arrangement than I do.

And then there’s the third group…

🤣 “They weren’t supposed to, but here we are.”

👇 Tell us which team you’re on! Bonus points if your dog somehow takes up 90% of the bed.

🐾 THIS is why we do what we do. 💙

When Torta first came to us, he was nearly paralyzed and had to relearn how to walk.

His family was facing something no pet parent ever wants to experience - watching their dog struggle to do something that once came naturally.

But Torta had a team behind him. 💪🐶

Through his rehabilitation journey, our team worked not only with Torta, but also with his family, helping them learn how to safely support him along the way.

And then came the moments everyone had been working toward…

Torta learned to walk again. 🥹🐾

His dad, Justin, described AWCOC as “a blessing” and said their family will forever be grateful.

But we’re pretty grateful, too.

Getting to be part of a pet’s comeback - and watching a family celebrate milestones that once felt so far away - is something we never take for granted.

Way to go, Torta. 💙

Every step matters.

Movement is medicine. 🐾
