Coshocton Animal Shelter is offering several programs to help Coshocton-area residents obtain low-cost spay and neuter services for their pets, including a free citywide trap-and-release program for feral cats, as well as free spay or neuter for any pit bulls living within the City of Coshocton. Free or discounted medical care is available for other breeds of dog as well. Hi everybody! Just a reminder to make your dog's grooming appointments BEFORE they need it! We have some clients calling in after their dogs have begun to get messy, upset because they cannot get an appointment immediately, leading to their dog's hair becoming overgrown.

Best practice is to make your next appointment when you pick up from the previous one. If you wait and call in when your dog is already getting messy, odds are you will be waiting 4-6 weeks for our next underbooked day.

We have a large, established client base and most of our clients schedule MONTHS in advance to secure a specific time or day- we have a few appointments made for 2027 already. Thanks to everyone who helps make Gabby's a success!

NOTICE OF PRICING CHANGES

Hi, everybody! As we notified everybody back in January, our new price chart is effective starting today! We calculated our pricing chart for 2026 taking into consideration our increased expenses and maintaining competitiveness amongst groomers in our area.

Please see our new price chart attached to this post. The majority of customers can expect a price increase of $5 at their next appointment. You can also continue to expect our commitment to integrity, transparency, and your pet's happiness and wellbeing. Hi everybody! This is Katelyn. We are happy to announce that our lovely bather and second handler, Zoe, will be leaving for her second maternity leave in the next few months, and will likely not return for quite some time. This unfortunately means we will not be able to accept any pets that require a second handler for the foreseeable future. If you are a current client, we will let you know individually if this affects you.

If you are a prospective client or haven't had an appointment in the past twelve months, please be advised that we are currently not booking new cats or large dogs at all, and any other pets that require a second handler will be asked to book elsewhere for the time being.

Thank you so much for your patience while Zoe focuses on adding a new member to Gabby's little family.

Many customers will be contacted soon to get copies of their pets updated vaccine records- if you would like to be proactive, you can call your vet and ask them to send the records to [email protected]. If your pet hasn't received their vaccines yet this year, please plan to get them as soon as possible. We require annual Bordatella, DAPP, and Rabies shots for all of our clients' and employees' safety, no exceptions Thank you!
