Dr. Tamara Kimmel is an experienced small animal veterinarian with a special passion for feline medicine and creating a compassionate, low-stress environment for her patients. She graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 and completed a one-year rotating internship in the Bay Area. She then spent approximately four years as an associate emergency clinician before transitioning to general practice. After returning to Oregon, Dr. Kimmel worked in a small animal general practice near Eugene before transitioning to feline-only medicine. For the past 10 years, she has focused exclusively on caring for cats, with particular interests in internal medicine, and long-term wellness and health care. She is dedicated to providing feline-friendly care that helps cats and their families feel comfortable and supported. Dr. Kimmel is excited to join the team at All Creatures, where she looks forward to caring for both canine and feline patients and building lasting relationships with pets and their families. She lives in Corvallis with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, gardening, knitting, and working with clay/ceramics.
