🐾 Teaching Independence Is One of the Greatest Gifts You Can Give Your Dog 🐾

Working from home has allowed us to spend more time with our dogs than ever before, but it’s important to remember that our Labradors also need to learn how to be comfortable on their own.

Allowing your dog to have short periods of independent time each day helps build confidence and teaches them that being alone is safe—not something to fear. This simple habit can go a long way toward preventing separation anxiety, which may show up as excessive barking, destructive behavior, pacing, or stress when left alone.

Start small, keep it positive, and gradually increase the time they spend relaxing on their own. A confident dog is a happier, healthier companion.
