Chicory Meadow Farm Chicory Meadow Farm is an english riding stable offering boarding, training and instruction for all levels of riding experience. Board starts at $950 per month.

Chicory Meadow Farm is a privately owned and operated boarding facility with over 20 years experience. Our farm offers an x-large indoor arena, daily turnout and excellent care. We are located 1 hour north of NYC. If you are looking for lessons, Chicory Meadow Farm has an ongoing traditional english riding school, with a strict emphasis on the fundamental basics of riding and good horsemanship. We

offer instruction for all levels. We go to a few shows each year and host several clinics. Regular riding lessons are:

$60 for a 1/2 hour private
$60 for a 45 minute semi-private
$60 for an hour group (three or more riders)

All students are encouraged to keep a weekly lesson schedule.

💔It is with incredible sadness that I tell everyone that this angel of a horse, Romeo, was put to sleep this morning after just having spent the last 24 hours fighting for his life with the help of Dr. Sonja who was with us the entire time from start to finish. But unfortunately, it was eventually revealed that he had an intestinal twist/blockage that could not be remedied without colic surgery. Romeo was 19 years old and had lived here at Chicory Meadow Farm for seven years. He was loved by many and always treated with kindness. He will be dearly missed😥 We are all devastated💔 This is a picture of Romeo taken one week ago at the fair. He was truly an amazing guy😥

This sweet boy couldn’t have been any better! It was Romeo’s first time away from home and he was a super star! Molly did a great job of helping him look so good at the fair!😍

CMF’s students had a blast at the Dutchess County Fair Horse Show this year! Besides the 10 Champion and Reserve Champion Ribbons, my two biggest highlights from this year’s fair was Morgan H. winning a blue ribbon in the large 2’ Eq. under saddle class on Balthazar and Marly on Sassy’s perfect blue ribbon round in the hunt field. I was also delighted to see how well behaved Romeo and Johnny were since this was their first time off the property with us. We also had a beautifully organized and decorated tack room with a hung new barn banner this year! Thanks to everyone that worked hard to help make this happen!
