Today I spent the afternoon with the DeKalb County 4-H Horsebowl and Hippology kids talking about massage, biomechanics, saddle fitting and more!

Fun fact ~ I grew up showing horses in the DeKalb County 4-H horse program! I’m always glad to see the next generation of young equestrians in the program!

We’ve gain a lot of new followers on this page recently, so we’re going to take a step back and talk about why I do what I do, and who the person behind this business is.

I started out, like many of you, as a horse crazy kid. I was obsessed from day one. Reading every book out there, being around horses every chance I could get, until my parents finally agreed to let me take lessons and eventually got me my own horse.

That passion and fire never stopped. Going through childhood, high school, and college riding and spending all my free time in the barn. I knew that I wanted to stay involved with horses and be able to work in this industry. I wanted to be able to help horses and their owners be able to work and perform their absolute best, no matter what their goals and ambitions were.

I still own horses. I still ride. And I still want to help you and your horses. I am one of you. Someone who loves these animals and loves the sport. And like many of you, I know this is a passion that will never die.

The Primary Equine family hopes you all had a wonderful holiday season and took time to spend with loved ones. I want to personally thank all of my clients for giving us a great year in 2018. I was fortunate enough to work with some amazing animals and they’re equally amazing owners. I have loved seeing the changes we have been able to make the quality of your horses’ lives. Without you I wouldn’t get to keep doing what I love.

Looking ahead to 2019, I am going to strive even further to help you and your equine companions and athletes. I will be adding new services throughout the beginning of the year in order to offer the best options for all horses and their needs.
