☀️🐾 It’s summertime, which means hotter weather and hotter surfaces! 🐾☀️

As temperatures rise, remember that sidewalks, asphalt, and concrete can become dangerously hot for your pet’s paws. If the ground feels too hot for the back of your hand for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for your furry friend to walk on.

🔥 Hot surfaces can cause painful burns and blisters.
🚶 Walk pets during the cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or evening.
🌳 Choose grassy or shaded routes whenever possible.
💧 Bring plenty of fresh water and watch for signs of overheating.

A little extra caution can go a long way in keeping your pets safe, comfortable, and happy all summer long! ❤️🐶🐱

These energetic, intelligent dogs were originally bred to run alongside horse-drawn carriages, which is why they have such incredible stamina and love staying active. Whether they’re going for a long walk, playing fetch, or joining their family on adventures, Dalmatians thrive when they have plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

We had some lovely Golden Retriever visitors today — Athena and Apollo! 💛🐾

Here are some fun facts about this amazing breed:

🐾 They LOVE water because their coats are water-resistant and they even have webbed feet!
🐾 Golden Retrievers have “soft mouths,” meaning they can carry things gently without damaging them. Some can even hold an egg without cracking it! 🥚
🐾 Their double coat sheds A LOT — especially during spring and fall. (“Golden glitter” gets everywhere ✨)
🐾 A healthy Golden Retriever can often learn over 100 commands and words!
🐾 They’re known for their famous “Golden smile” — happy expression included 😄
