This male and 3 females have all found their way to our shelter! No microchips were found on any of the pets.
Owners can reclaim their pet with proof of ownership such as pictures or vet records at 3118 Cabaniss Parkway, Corpus Christi, TX! Please share this post to help find their families❤️ Stray animals are placed on a 3-day hold period to allow time for their rightful owners to reclaim them. If they are not reclaimed during that time, they move forward in our process to become available for adoption!

💛 Saying goodbye to Dr. Peach!
What started as an internship turned into so much more, and we’re so grateful Dr. Peach became part of our GCHS family. Her time in the Coastal Bend has now come to an end, and we’re going to miss her!

Thank you, Dr. Peach, for the long hours, generous care, and endless kindness you gave our shelter animals. From high volume, high quality spay and neuter surgeries to helping so many animals get one step closer to finding their homes, your impact here has meant so much.
We’re so thankful for your time with us and everything you’ve done for our animals🐾

TWO WEEKS LATER… 🐾
Remember the momma dog and six puppies who came to us in heartbreaking condition? We’ve got a much happier update🩵

Mama T. is officially AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! 🎉She has come such a long way, and now she is ready to find the family she deserves!

Her four surviving puppies are still recovering, but they are getting stronger, healthier, and a little plumper every day🥰 You may notice their legs look a little different in these photos. Sadly, the severe malnutrition they experienced during such an important stage of growth affected their development.

But our clinic team is working with them every single day to help them get stronger, even making little splints to help readjust their legs 🥹 They still have a ways to go, but just look at them now. Fuller bellies, brighter eyes, and a whole lot more hope.

We also want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated toward their care and the 150+ animals we have welcomed into our shelter since their arrival. We are so thankful for your help in giving these lives a second chance!
