Just a quick shoutout to my AMAZING clients❤️

My generator decided to completely crap out on me this morning before I even made it to my first pup of the day. Of course, I had a full day planned, including TWO new clients I was so excited to meet. 😭

Unfortunately, it looks like my generator is going to be down until most likely Thursday (waiting on parts), which meant spending today reaching out to everyone on my schedule and figuring out how in the world I’m going to shuffle everyone around.

And y’all… I HATE having to cancel on my clients.

One thing I pride myself on is showing up. I may be running behind sometimes 👀😂, but I WILL get there. So having to message so many of you and say, “I’m not going to make it,” genuinely made me sick.

But every. single. person. responded with nothing but understanding, kindness, and wishes for a quick repair. Not one person made me feel bad about something completely out of my control. Instead, you guys made ME feel loved. 🥹

And I just needed to say how much I appreciate that.

Mobile grooming clients really are a whole different breed. ❤️ I’m so incredibly lucky to have built a clientele full of people who are kind, flexible, understanding, and genuinely care about me and my little business just as much as I care about them and their pups.

Now everybody send some good juju to the generator so we can get her back up and running and get these pups back on schedule for their spooky Halloween baths! 👻🎃🫧🐾

I love you guys. Seriously. Thank you for being so awesome.

Thank you so much to the Olivarez family for the sweetest card and bracelet. I don’t think you guys realize how much things like this mean to me.

One of the greatest parts of what I do is getting to become a tiny part of so many families. I love my puppies, I love my oldies, and I love every pup in between. I get to watch them grow up, learn all their little quirks, celebrate birthdays and milestones, and love on them month after month.

But that also means eventually there is a last groom. Sometimes I know it’s the last one, and sometimes I give them a kiss goodbye and drive away having absolutely no idea. That will forever be the hardest part of this job.

Daisy Mae was one of those special little souls I never would have met if I hadn’t randomly stepped outside of my comfort zone. Two years ago, I saw a post from her groomer in California looking for a mobile groomer in Corpus Christi. I’m normally not the person who reaches out for things like that, but for some reason I did.

And because I did, I got two years with this sweet girl. 🥹💕

Every visit her mom made sure Daisy was ready for whatever that month’s holiday was, sending out little dresses for me to put her in or even the tiny tiara she’s wearing in this picture. 👑

Being trusted with someone’s babies while they’re here is already such a privilege. Being invited into the joy of loving them and the heartbreak of losing them means more to me than I could ever explain.

Thank you, Olivarez family, for trusting me with Daisy Mae, for letting me love her for the last two years, and for thinking of me while your own hearts are hurting. I’ll treasure this forever. 🌈🐾💗

Ending Pool Season with a Splash!
Help us close out the pool season with one last splash... but this time, it's all about our four-legged friends!
Bring your pup to the Charles H. Doherty Swimming Pool for a tail-wagging good time as they splash, swim, and play!
To help keep all of our furry guests safe and comfortable, we'll have two swim sessions:
🐕 Small Dogs: 1-hour session
🐕‍🦺 Large Dogs: 1-hour session
Please note: This event is just for the dogs! Humans are welcome to watch and cheer them on, but only our furry friends will be allowed in the pool.
For the safety of all dogs, proof of current vaccinations is required before entering the pool.
Don't miss this fun end-of-summer event! Come watch your pup paddle, play, and soak up every last bit of pool season. We can't wait to see all the happy tails and soggy doggies!

These handsome brothers had the honor of wrapping up our Funky Fetch! month in style! ✌️🌼✨

Kodiak enjoyed his usual line trim all over with extra attention to his behind, plus a serious deshed. And WOW — the hair just kept coming! 🎉 He left looking polished, feeling fresh, and bouncing around like he dropped a couple of pounds. 😆🐾

Kenai enjoyed a Funky Fetch! Bath & Tidy, making sure all the important maintenance was taken care of. His behind is nice and short, his pads are shaved, his feet are cleaned up, and his sanitary trim is fresh and tidy.
