Lovebugs Rescue Lovebugs Rescue is a foster based dog rescue located in Orange County, California. We are a 501C3 Charity located in Orange County, California.

Our focus is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs that have been neglected, abandoned or are at risk for euthanasia. We are an all breed, all age foster based rescue organization.

Meet our adorable Coastal Cuties — Malibu, Huntington, Newport, Zuma, Pismo, Coronado, Laguna, Avalon & Solana! These nine little beach babies turn 8 weeks old on September 30th and are officially ready for pre-adoption.

Their mama is a 15 lb Parson Russell Terrier mix, and we are awaiting DNA results on the puppies to learn a little more about their family tree. Based on mom and their current size, we expect these cuties to remain in the small-breed range when full grown.

Each puppy has their own absolutely darling markings and patterns, making it nearly impossible to choose a favorite! They are sweet-natured, affectionate and wonderfully snuggly, with playful little personalities beginning to shine through. They love romping around with other dogs and are happy to make friends with the new people they meet.

These pups have all the ingredients for wonderful little companions — loving, social, playful and cuddly. Whether you’re dreaming of Malibu sunsets, strolling the shores of Laguna, or spending the day in Newport, there’s a Coastal Cutie ready to become your new best friend.

We rescued Willow from the San Bernardino City shelter. Thank you Laura & Bonnie for transport/foster. 🐾🩷

Willow is a 14 week old, 10 lb Border Collie mix (DNA pending) who arrived at the shelter with what appears to be microphthalmia in both eyes. She has limited to no vision. Willow also has several fractures along her tail and is experiencing some discomfort from that. The vet took an xray and she is on pain meds for that.

Willow is settling into her foster nicely and has enjoyed getting loads of attention and snuggles. She’s already mastered a snuffle mat proving she is a smarty pants.

We will be getting her in to see our eye specialist to get a proper diagnosis and medical plan in place for her eyes. More info coming soon!
