We love a good nail trim transformation!🐶👌
Keeping your dog’s nails properly maintained isn’t just about appearance, it plays a huge role in their comfort, movement, and overall health.
When nails become too long, it can put unnecessary strain on their toes and joints which can pain and discomfort for your dogs while walking.
For most dogs, we recommend having their nails trimmed or dremeled every 4 weeks to maintain a healthy length.
If your dog’s nails have already gotten too long, don’t worry, it can be improved! As nails grow, so does the quick (the blood supply inside the nail). By scheduling trims or dremeling every 2 weeks, the quick will gradually recede over time, allowing the nails to become shorter safely and comfortably.
Consistency is the key to healthy feet! 🐶
