As we approach the end of summer and early fall, the frequency of diseases spread by mosquitoes affecting horses such as West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis goes up. Therefore be sure that your horse is up-to-date on their vaccinations for these diseases.

It is a hot one out there and with a lot of flies around. It is creating a great opportunity for pinkeye to show up and spread in cattle. Think about fly control and vaccinating your cattle against pinkeye.
