Even though we are no longer rescuing, doing bird fairs, or adding more clientele for grooming, we do have adoptable birds. No, these are not free.

What we have is few, but they still matter ❤️

We have a pair of bonded cockatiels who need to stay together.

We also have a pair on bonded lovebirds who need to stay together.

We MAY have an umbrella cockatoo male who needs a female owner ONLY! Not good with men or children. This is still very unclear so until we know, PLEASE don’t message about this.

Grooming update!

Grooming will continue, NO MATTER WHAT. Even after baby comes 🙂

$30 per bird, and if traveling to you, giving something for gas is needed. Doesn’t have to be much, but something! This economy is bonkers.

I will not barter, or lower my price for grooming. I’ve been doing this 5 years, and I’m trained by the only Board Certified Avian Veterinarian in the Twin Cities area. I’m more reasonable than others, not to mention the vet! You are not only paying for the service, but for knowledge of how to safely and professionally groom your bird.

Keep in mind cost of tools, veterinary grade disinfectant, and MY TIME.

No grooming visit is fast, and I take time to get to know your bird AND you, and make sure they are comfortable and not stressed.

We REALLY need cages. Especially macaw size. One we picked up has no way to be put together as it needs special bolts by the company to be put together. Naturally it didn’t come with those…

And the company doesn’t exist anymore.

We need help or will be forced to close.

I’ve begged for help, countless times on here. Nobody follows through, and we can’t do it alone anymore.

If you have a cage- we could use it. We don’t have the $$$$$, macaw cages for the size we need on the low end being $800. We are repairing our home for our baby on the way, and the extra isn’t there.

Sharing for hopes that once again we can get some funds raised…since our last ask we raised….$0!

We had such a huge increase in shares and followers were hoping that we can raise enough to get upcoming vet visits covered and get some cages. We’re thankful for any help we can get!

We need your help!

We had an emergency intake and do not have any more macaw cages!

We need to raise funds immediately as this macaw cannot stay on our Java stand the time she is here.

This is a large greenwing and the cage we have doesn’t fit her as she is larger than your typical blue and gold or scarlet.

Even if someone has one we can use temporarily until we order her a new one it would work.

We just don’t have the $1,000 for the size cage at the moment.

Well, I’ve had already 10+ messages asking us not to close and how we can be helped to stay open.

1- spread our name to increase awareness that we’re a legitimate rescue wanting to help bird and bird owners navigate through hard times, whether that’s having to surrender, possibly donate food or toys, or just be an ear to listen.

Cages, food, toys, funds….anything helps!!

We have gotten 0 calls for surrenders in months due to “backyard” rescues who are taking in free birds, and flipping them for a profit. That’s not rescue. That’s called bird flipping. People do it dogs all the time but apparently for birds it’s “rescue”

If you want to help, we are making Amazon wish lists and I will post when we are done creating them.

We now use Northside Pet Hospital in Eau Claire for any veterinary needs, as our longtime vet “lost” records, and had Paco’s under a completely different persons name. We only got records from his vet visit in January, and we’ve been going there YEARS. We don’t have any birds that currently need vetting, so right now this cost is low.
