August brought us SO many adorable new puppy faces, and we’re excited to introduce some of our newest little clients! 🥹🐶💕

Meet our feline of the month: Eloise! 🎉🏆🐱

Hi I'm Eloise, a.k.a. -We**ee, Memo, joop joop ( don't ask..)
My humans rescued me from CAPS in Sugarland Tx when I was 5 Weeks old and that was 14 years ago! I have a big sister Prissy that I share my humans with. She is very low key and lets me run everything.
A few things I like to do:
Have fresh water from the faucet
Treats in my little puzzle box
Playing fetch with mom - little paper balls are best.
Sitting on the stairs, crying til my mom comes to play-
Love, love, love to rub catnip all over my face!

At night, I take very seriously guarding my humans, I lay on one, face the door and keep watch.
Though, I get impatient and try and wake them by standing on their chest and staring at them- sometimes it works... then, in the morning, after a good breakfast, I relax.

I also like to kick anyone, everyone off of whatever cushion, chair, tower they are on as I want to take the warm spot they made just for me!

I also let mom dress me up in whatever sweater she crochets for me- came in handy when I was sick and lost alot of weight.
Mom also dresses me up for halloween, but I like that because waiting for trick or treaters at the door is fun!
So far, life has been hectic here in N.C., my sister and I have gotten sick quite a bit, but we have been lucky to have such good people to take care of us at Mainstreet Veterinary and boarding. We have seen a lot of them.
Feeling good lately, and thanks to all who cared to get to know me better!
Ms. ELOISE

Meet our canine of the month: Sophie Grace! 🎉🏆🐶

Sophie Grace is a 13 year old cockapoo that has been with me since she was 8 weeks old. She doesn’t believe she’s a dog and prefers to be treated like she’s people. She’s a little girl with a big bark and demands to be the center of attention at all times!

She loves to play with her Dachshund brother and human sister, but lets them know she’s in charge. She loves to go on walks, snuggle, sunbathe, and hang out the window on car rides. Lampchop is her favorite stuffed playmate and she has over 20 of them, fiercely protecting each one from her brother’s habit of destruction. She spends most of her days hanging in her Mom’s office, sitting in her Mom’s lap, and stealing treats and kisses whenever she can!

Got towels? 🐾

Doing a little linen-closet cleanout? We’d be happy to give your gently used towels a second life!

Our team goes through plenty of towels caring for our patients every day, and clean, gently used bath towels and hand towels are always useful around the hospital.

If you have some you’re ready to part with, feel free to drop them off at Main Street Veterinary Hospital during regular business hours.

Your old towels can do a whole lot of good around here. ❤️

❤️ Our Main Street Family is Rallying Around deputy Brandon

Many of you may have heard about the serious accident that happened directly in front of Main Street Veterinary Hospital on Wednesday involving sheriff deputy Brandon.

Our team was there in the moments immediately following the accident, and since then, Brandon and his family have remained very much on our heart.

Brandon has already undergone several surgeries, with more likely ahead. At home, he has a wife, a baby girl, and a middle school-aged son who are walking through this incredibly difficult time alongside him.

A GoFundMe has been created to help support Brandon and his family as he faces what will likely be a long road to recovery. If you are able, we hope our Main Street community will join us in supporting this family. Every donation, share, prayer, and kind word matters.

This happened right outside our doors, but the impact has reached far beyond them. Brandon and his family have friends at Main Street, and we will continue cheering him on every step of the way. ❤️

Please consider donating or sharing the GoFundMe below.

🌈🐾 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🐾🌈
Today, we pause at Main Street Veterinary Hospital to remember the beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. ❤️
They may no longer be here to greet us with a wagging tail, a gentle purr, or their favorite goofy expression, but the love they gave us never leaves. Their paw prints remain forever—in our homes, our hearts, and in the memories we cherish. 🐶🐱💕
To every family missing a beloved companion today: we see you, we remember them with you, and we’re honored to have cared for so many special pets throughout their lives. 🌈
Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten. 🐾

Yesterday, there was a serious car accident right outside our hospital, and we couldn’t be more proud of the way our team responded. Several of our team members, clients, and Habitat volunteers immediately stepped in to help. Their quick thinking, compassion, and willingness to help during such a frightening situation were truly remarkable. They didn’t hesitate—they simply did what needed to be done, and they did it bravely and with incredible teamwork.

This is one of those moments that reminds us just how special the people we work alongside every day truly are. We are incredibly proud of our staff and grateful to everyone who stepped up to help.

Sending good thoughts, prayers, and plenty of puppy hugs for a quick and full recovery to the officer who was injured. ❤️🐾

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the deputy was attempting to avoid a crash when the collision occurred.
