Oliver wasn't just a great dog, he was my best friend. We went to lunch, dinner, bars, coffee shops, local errands, and vacations together. He was also a fantastic roommate, awesome wingman, and loyal companion. I will miss him with all of my heart.

The other night my dog needed to go out at 3:30 in the morning. I let him out and and he did not come back in. I went out and found him laying in the grass looking at the moon. So I laid with him for an hour to comfort him. I cried myself to sleep. Sorry to report the end is near for Oliver... :(

Pictures from Oliver's Lucky 13 Birthday Fundraiser at Lucky Dog Bark and Brew. Thanks to all who came and donated to the Cornelius Animal Shelter. Also thanks to Marianne Metzger from the Vet Hospital of Davidson for making and donating the human cup cakes, and of course thanks to Lucky Dog Bark and Brew for having us as well as donating 10% of their proceeds from the afternoon to the Cornelius Animal Shelter.
