This sport and the trappings of the world that surrounds it are not for the faint of heart. It daily tests your resolve and commitment and asks what of your time and resources you’re willing to exchange for a few precious moments a day connected to something inexplicable & ethereal.
As a result it tends to attract high achievers, perfectionists, competitors, and incredibly intentional students - all characteristics which are beautiful and dangerous traits.
Part of why we do this is to be outside, touch grass, and practice taking things in stride.
So my friends, set your sights on those goals but remember to enjoy the ride. 🌱🐴
