One of my biggest joys of having a platform through Everyday Helper is getting to give back to the community! Over the next few months I have LOTS of just that planned! Starting with a little toy shopping I did this past week! (Got to get the deals when you can!!)

This year, we've been blessed with a FANTASTIC year at Everyday Helper, so, in addition to collecting donations for Toys for Tots like usual, we're ALSO doing the following:

👉 In November, $5 from every booking of any of our services is going to the Coralville Community Food Pantry.

👉 In November, we're gong to be giving away 3 complete Thanksgiving meals to those who could use a little help getting a Thanksgiving meal on the table this year.

👉 In November, and December, we're going to be partnering with local care centers to make the holiday season a little brighter for seniors through Angel Tree donations.

👉In November, and December we're going to be adopting some kiddos through the Angel Tree program as well.

It's thanks to YOU, our supporters, who make all of this possible....so, THANK YOU for blessing us and allowing us to give back to the community!! And stay tuned to follow along on our journey over the holiday season!

Quick reminder time! Lately we've been receiving A TON of requests to drive clients of all ages around the corridor area to medical appts etc. Unfortunately, that is not a service we offer, and have not offered since 2019.

We DO however offer errand running! We will run around town and pick up your groceries, prescriptions, dry cleaning, mail, etc for you! If you're interested in this service, we'd love to chat! You can message us on social media or call/text us at 319-250-6938.

Thumbs up to a new week! Friendly reminder, it's our busy season! That means we are scheduling our house cleaning incoming requests out 1-2 weeks in advance. We are unable to accommodate "week of" requests at this time. So, if you're hosting Halloween fun at your house this month, it's time to book that cleaning 😉. Also, weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's are already filling up with limited availability!

Looking to schedule with us this fall? Here are a few reminders as we enter the "ber" months....our busy season ❤

We do not schedule "week of" for house cleaning requests. We typically schedule 1-2 weeks out in advance. Please keep this in mind as you're looking ahead to schedule.

Our schedules for the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are already filling up FAST! If you're going to be hosting family, friends, get-togethers etc, please reach out soon to guarantee your spot! Yes, I know it's only the beginning of October but just last week alone we added 4 cleanings to our week of Thanksgiving schedule! It's time to start planning!

We require ALL new clients to have our 50 point cleaning checklist filled out and ready for your helper when they arrive for your first cleaning. If we don't have this as well as the recommend cleaning products and tools to work with, we simply won't be able to complete your cleaning and will have to reschedule.

Lastly, please keep in mind- we have a 24 hour cancellation policy in place. All clients receive 2 free late cancellations per calendar year because we understand illness and emergencies after that. Please note that after your two free passes, or if we are unable to enter your home at the time of your scheduled appt, you will be charged.
