🩵 Jersey is the fur baby of one of our wonderful vet techs, Bert (Humberta Botelho DeAlmeida ☮️❤️). While Ruby is one of Dr. Lera’s gorgeous dogs.

🎂 The celebrations included special cakes which they all loved, including Raven… the mess was totally worth it 😂

If your bulldog, Frenchie, or any “squishy-face” breed has trouble breathing, BOAS surgery may be part of the conversation.

In this video, Dr. Lera explains one important part of recovery: keeping mucus thin and moving after surgery.

A nebulizer or cold mist humidifier can help support easier breathing while your pet heals, especially when discharge starts to build up.

🐾 Fostering saves lives 🐾

Sometimes helping an animal doesn’t mean keeping them forever.

It means giving them a safe place to sleep, food, love, and care while they wait for the home they’re meant to have.

This little guy was dropped off at our office and was fostered by Dr. Lera and our team while he waited for adoption.

A special thank you to Bert Humberta Botelho DeAlmeida ☮️❤️ , one of our amazing vet techs, for also taking him home on weekends and helping care for him during this time. 🩵

And yes, happy update: he has officially been adopted. 🐱
