Testing out a new idea… and I think we’ve got a winner 🐾

Built this angled scratcher/ramp and within seconds it was already being used.

That’s the goal with everything I build:
✔ give cats a way to climb
✔ burn energy
✔ and use their natural instincts

When you give them an outlet like this, they don’t need to take it out on your furniture.

Floating shelves test… SUCCESS ✅

I’ve been working on making these strong, clean, and truly “floating” — and seeing them hold up (and get approved by the boss 🐱) is a great feeling.

Still dialing in the design, but this is exactly how these spaces start coming together.

Strong. Functional. Built for real cats.

Working on a 6ft cat scratcher for the cat room superhighway.🐾😁 Cat dad at work.

Scratching isn’t bad behavior — it’s natural.

The problem is when they don’t have the right place to do it.

One thing I’ve noticed after building a cat “highway”…

It naturally changes their behavior 🐾

Cats are wired to climb, explore, and observe their environment from above. When they don’t have an outlet for that energy, it can show up as:

• boredom
• scratching furniture
• nighttime zoomies
• knocking things over

Giving them a vertical space to move, climb, and relax helps burn that energy in a natural way.

Since building this setup, they spend more time exploring, lounging up high, and just seem more content overall.

It’s a simple change that can make a big difference for indoor cats.
