Fostering helps us save lives! If you would like to be a part of the Susquehanna SPCA's Foster Progr

Hi foster family! As I’m sure you’ve seen, our team is working hard to help with an emergency case.

We will be looking for fosters for small breed dog mixes (pug type) as of Monday! We do not know how these dogs are with kids or housetraining, or really any additional details at this time other than they should be good with other dogs! It’s a great opportunity for us to learn more about them in a home/foster setting.

We are also looking for puppy fosters for a litter of mixes. We do not know what mixes they are but they are young puppies (8-10 week range) and medium sized likely.

Please email [email protected] or call 607-547-8111 ext 107 to inquire about fostering these guys! Thank you for your understanding!

Edit: FOSTER FOUND!!!! ❤️

Meet Hunny Bear! She's a 5-year-old St. Bernard who would love to find a foster home (or forever home!)

She is good with other dogs and kids! Her history with cats is unknown. This big girl would much rather wait for her forever home on your couch than in the shelter!

If you're interested in either fostering or adopting this sweet pup, please give us a call at 607-547-8111 or shoot an email to [email protected].

We are looking for a very quiet foster home for this little guy, Smiley.

He is a special-needs pup that we are still medically evaluating. It would be in his best interest to get out of the stressful shelter and go to a foster home without kids, though he could go with other relaxed animals, while we continue to evaluate him. He's a lil guy, just about 25 pounds.

If you are thinking that your home would be a nice and cozy place for him to relax for the new few weeks, please give us a call at 607-547-8111 or email [email protected].
