Steve and I took the boys to Cooper Lake State Park for a little date night. It is a blessing to spend this time with .heinzig and these horses. I don’t think I could have dreamed a better life than this.

Meet my sweet (and mostly misunderstood) new friend, Fenway 🐾

This special pup gets nervous around new people, especially up close, and he’s had some tough moments because of it (I.e. new boarding facilities, THE VET, dog walkers). His dad was searching high and low for a safe place to board him, worried about Fenway’s past experiences and how he might react.

Today, we’re giving him a calm, patient space where he can just be himself. Slowly but surely, we’re building trust one gentle moment at a time.

Every dog deserves a chance to feel safe. Fenway has finally found a home away from home where he feels safe and comfortable. ❤️ Not only is Fenway having a good time, his dad can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing his special boy is in good hands.
