On Wednesday we had to say goodbye to one of our longtime clients who has been with us for about 20 years . Her name is Joyce and she has become a great friend ! She brought us an amazing lunch and ate with us as we wished her the very best in her new adventure out of state ! We are happy for her but heartbroken to see her and her large family of furry pets move away !😢❤️

A very special welcome to this handsome 11 week old Merle Cockapoo named Maverick ! He is an absolute fluffy , cuddly love sponge and gives gentle little kisses ! Wonderful way to start our day ! ❤️🤗🐾

Give a warm welcome to this beautiful 3 year old spayed female Golden Retriever named Athena . She weighs 59.6 pounds today which is a perfect body weight for her . Exactly 1 year ago she weighed 73 pounds - 13 pounds overweight !! Thanks to her amazing mom Stephanie she lost those 13 pounds due to feeding Hill’s Metabolic diet according to directions ! Congratulations Stephanie !!! ❤️

Every life matters to me ! This is the story of my boy Zen ! A kind lady found him in the middle of the road after he was hit by a car . She brought him to me in hopes that I could save him . He had a fractured hind leg and a paralyzed right front leg and was in pain . When I touched him he purred instantly . The young lady was amazed , because he didn’t purr when she touched or held him . I knew at that moment that he was meant to be mine ! After his fractured hind leg healed I amputated his right front leg because he had permanent nerve damage and dragged the leg constantly . He was a peaceful, quiet gentle soul so I named him Zen ! He was about 4 months old when he came to me ! He was an amazing friend to me and my furry family members ! He loved to watch tv and stand up on his hind legs and try to touch moving objects - especially Panther hockey pucks on the screen . He loved to sleep with me and would rub his face on my fingers when his eyes , face or ears were itchy . He led a happy sheltered life ! Unfortunately on May 1 st of this month he crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 19 years of age . His physical condition was declining rapidly and I had to make the difficult decision to allow him to cross the Rainbow Bridge in peace and with dignity . Thankfully my niece Staci and my Blue Angels were there to help support me and to say goodbye to Zen . It is said that losing a pet is like losing a child . Only people who have lost pets can understand this . I was so grateful to have had Zen for so long ! I believe God sent him to me ! Eternally grateful ! 😥❤️‍🩹🌹 love you my little boy ! Love , Doc !
