TODAY ONLY 9/12 we have 9 cats with waived adoption fees and many others that have very discounted fees! They are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, and ready to begin their career in freeloading.

Come adopt yourself a tiny unemployed roommate before our management remember these things usually cost money!

Nova
This beautiful 6-year-old, 70-pound Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix was surrendered by her owner on August 29th, and now she’s hoping her next family will be forever. Nova is good with other dogs, cats, and children, and she’s both housebroken and crate trained. She even loves going for car rides! Please consider adopting an older dog like Nova— they truly are the best and have so much love to give. Nova is available for adoption today at the Cookeville/Putnam County Animal Shelter.

The Animal Shelter will be closed Thursday, September 10th for a deep cleaning. We have had several recent arrivals test positive for parvo over the last few days and we need to take some enhanced measures to protect our existing and incoming dog populations. Please call your local law enforcement for assistance with stray, injured or aggressive animals.

Purzilla is a 1 year and 4 month old spayed female.
She came in as a stray at the end of May and has been patiently waiting for a home.
Thanks to a generous donor, adoption fee has been reduced to $70
