🐾🚨 March is Pet Poison Prevention Month! 🚨🐾

As pet parents, we want to keep our furry friends safe and happy, but sometimes harmful substances can sneak into our homes without us even realizing. This month, let's focus on protecting our pets from potential dangers!

💡 Quick Tips to Keep Your Pet Safe:
• Store foods, medications, and chemicals out of reach 🧴
• Avoid toxic plants like lilies, azaleas, and daffodils 🌸
• Be mindful of common household items like chocolate, grapes, and xylitol 🐕🍫
• Keep cleaning supplies and antifreeze securely locked away 🧽🔒

If you suspect your pet has ingested something harmful, act quickly! Call us or your local emergency vet immediately. Early intervention can save lives!
Remember, prevention is always better than a cure.

Let’s keep our pets safe and happy this month (and every month)! 🐾💙

We are so sad to hear of Dr. Tallent’s passing. He was a pillar in the central Arkansas veterinary community for decades. We were blessed to have him do some relief work for us over the past few years. We appreciated his kindness, humor, and dedication to families and pets in Central Arkansas. He will be missed by so many! Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

It is with great sadness that the ArVMA learns of the passing of Dr. Aron Tallent, of Conway, due to complications from pneumonia. Thoughts and prayers to his family, friends and colleagues. Arrangements are still being made.
