You've seen our logo. But do you know what it means?

Four paws. One is blue.

That blue paw represents something we live with every single day at All 4 Paws Animal Rescue — 1 in 4 animals we take in has significant medical or behavioral needs. The kind that require specialist visits, surgeries, behavioral rehabilitation, weeks or months of medical fostering, and thousands of dollars before they ever get to their happy ending.

It's not the exception. It's the reality of rescue work.

We don't turn them away. We don't pass them to shelters that can't help them. We say yes and then we figure out how to make it work, because they deserve that chance.

Billie Jean is our blue paw right now. So is every animal that comes to us broken and leaves us whole.

We receive zero government funding. Every single dollar comes from this community.

I have been really busy, and not keeping up on social media 😕. But before I do a little catching up, let me share my weekend. I was contacted by someone who I worked with when I was still a vet tech that does giant breed rescue. She told me about a 10 month old St Bernard that was left in a crate and abandoned 🙀. We lost our St a couple years ago from epilepsy. Maxwell was only 2. My rescue friend knew the devastation my family went through and thought we might be willing to help. YES!
We packed up the car and drove 2 hours to get him. The neglect was obvious from the over powering smell from he not being groomed and left in his own waste. Most of his white coat is stained yellow 😿. Most of his matts were so tight and big they had to be shaved. He is a work in progress but he is just a big love bug. Meet Tank ( we didn't name him).
