As we start the day this Friday, 8/22/25, the Animal Care Center has 367 total pets in our population, including the animals involved in yesterday's HCPD investigation.

We understand our community wants to help the animals involved in yesterday's investigation. The animals involved are not currently available for adoption, fostering, public viewing, or news media access.

The best way to help is by fostering or adopting any of the 139 pets currently available. By taking these pets home, you are helping us to open up space and alleviate stress on our staff (and pets!).

You can see all of our available pets on our website. Pets can be adopted from our shelter (1923 Industrial Park Rd., Conway, SC 29526) and Tamroc Kennels (201 Bush Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579).

Our shelter opens at 10:30 a.m. today.

Hey guys! I know I haven't been active on here much and life has been overwhelming for me lately, but I did want to make a post about some things!
- Go ahead and prebook appointments for the rest of 2025 if possible. I am booking a few weeks in advanced at the moment as I have downsized to how many dogs I do a day. I'm no longer squeezing dogs in on my days off or after hours. So please please prebook appointments!
- Please pick up your dog after they are finished grooming. If you need to leave them longer it's typically no problem just give me a heads up! With kids having practices and things after school I may not be able to stay later.
- Sometimes it may take a little longer than you are used to for grooming. I am currently balancing Abigail and grooming so I may have to stop periodically but I try to stay on schedule as much as possible.
I appreciate and love you guys so much. Thanks for hanging with me with all life has thrown at me lately 💜

I absolutely love this boy and whoever gets to be his future owners I would really want to still be his groomer. He is a well behaved loving bernedoodle puppy! He would 100% be living with us if we could handle another dog right now that's how much we adore him. Great with other dogs and kids! Also, has the softest most cuddliest hair ❤️ literally the bestest boy 🐶
