🐾 **Meet Risk — our unofficial Barn Manager… or as we like to call him, the Dog in Charge.** 😂

If you’ve been around WildWood Stables for any length of time, you have probably already met him. When he is not too busy playing show dog, Risk is often out and about on the property. He keeps a very close eye on operations and makes sure absolutely nothing happens without his approval.

As a Mudi, he may greet you with a few enthusiastic barks when you arrive. Don’t take it personally — he’s just conducting the mandatory “Who are you and what are you doing here?” security interview. 😂

Once he’s determined you’re acceptable, he’ll happily switch from Barn Security to Professional Friend-Maker and probably decide you’re his new best friend.

Of course, he takes his supervisory duties very seriously… so if you see him wandering around, just know that he is **working.** 😉

🍂🐴 **FINALLY.**

The temperatures are dropping, the horses are getting their second wind, and suddenly everyone remembers that riding is actually supposed to be *fun*. 😂

Cooler weather means:
✔️ Longer rides
✔️ Happier horses
✔️ Less sweating for everyone involved
✔️ More productive training sessions
✔️ And absolutely no excuses for staying home! 😉

We’re taking full advantage of these beautiful fall temperatures at **WildWood Stables**. Whether
you’re looking to get back in the saddle, improve your skills, or put some miles on your horse, **this is the weather we’ve been waiting for.** 🍁🐎

Come enjoy the cool air, happy horses, and beautiful rides with us! ❤️

🐴✨What a fantastic day at the Grass Roots & Dusty Boots Horse Show!✨🐴

Trainer Mackenzie had the pleasure of taking lesson student Sam and Rambo to the show yesterday, and this team excelled! 👏🏼🏆

It was so rewarding to see the hard work and dedication come together in the show ring. Sam and Rambo made Blackout Equine proud, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch this partnership continue to grow!

Congratulations, Sam & Rambo! We’re so proud of you both! 🖤🐎

📍ON-SITE TRAINING SPOT OPENINGS 🐴

From starting young or green to finishing seasoned horses, Blackout Equine offers individualized training designed to build a confident, willing, and well-rounded partner.

Every horse receives a tailored training program based on their current ability, goals, and individual needs. Programs start with a 30-day minimum, giving your horse the time and consistency needed to establish a solid foundation and begin meaningful progress.

Our training focuses on:

* Starting & foundation training
* Finishing & tune-ups
* Ranch riding
* Trail horse development
* Jumper training
* Confidence building & problem solving
* Exposure to new environments and experiences
* Competition and riding-goal preparation

All training horses receive their own stall along with individual turnout, allowing each horse to have dedicated time outside while maintaining a safe, structured routine throughout their training stay.

At Blackout Equine, the goal isn’t simply to put miles on a horse—it’s to develop a better partner for the future through consistency, communication, and a program built specifically for them.

Inquire today and better your horse’s future!

A new chapter for Blackout Equine 🖤🐴

We’ve been busy getting settled into our new home, putting our program back together, and laying the groundwork for some exciting improvements to come.

Our lesson program is officially booking, and we’re excited to welcome new and returning riders to the farm. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve your skills, or simply spend more time in the saddle, we’re looking forward to helping you reach your goals.

And this is just the beginning. We have some big plans for improvements to the facilities and program in the near future, and we can’t wait to watch this place continue to grow and become everything we envision for Blackout Equine.
Here’s a little look at where we are now — and a glimpse of where we’re headed. 🖤

The day you all have been waiting for is here. JJ is formally being offered. We have loved working with this gem of a horse. He has been great to our lesson kids, but it’s time for him to find his own person. More pictures and videos available by request.
