Got to explore some new areas of Little Rock this week. Really enjoyed the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, especially the exhibit on the MacArthur Truman effect. It’s worth a visit!

Well hello there speckles! 💕
This egg is the first from our 5Roots bred chickens. We had to re-establish our flock when moving from California is to Arkansas. I had eggs shipped from Burberry Homestead, Freshly Picked Chicks, and a local farm C Squared Farms. These chicks grew up, and hatched babies of their own. And these are the colors they are laying!!! This is a cross between a Marans and a Welsummer.
