🐾 CREEKSIDE GROOMING — IMPORTANT UPDATE 🐾

We are so incredibly thankful for each and every one of our clients who continue to keep our books full! 🤍

At this time, we are not able to accept any new clients due to our current schedule being fully booked. We truly appreciate all of the referrals and recommendations we receive, and we hope to be able to welcome new furry friends again in the future!

As we head into the holiday season, we also want to give our current clients a little heads-up. Hannah will be going out on maternity leave beginning in mid-December, which means Lauren will be grooming solo for a period of time. Because of this, appointment availability will be very limited and our schedule is expected to fill especially quickly around Thanksgiving and Christmas. 🎄🐾

✨ We highly recommend rebooking your dog’s next appointment at pickup. This is the best way to guarantee a spot on our schedule and keep your pup on their regular grooming routine.

If you know your dog will need to be groomed before the holidays, please don’t wait until the last minute to schedule! Once our available appointments are filled, we may not be able to squeeze in additional appointments.

🚨 GROOMER PSA: WANT TO LEAVE YOUR DOG’S COAT LONGER FOR WINTER? READ THIS! 🚨

As temperatures drop, I hear this a LOT:
“I want to leave them longer so they stay warm!” ❄️🐶
And yes keeping your dog’s coat longer during the colder months is absolutely an option!

But here’s the important part:

LONGER COAT DOES NOT MEAN LESS GROOMING.

When you stretch out appointments, that extra length can quickly turn into tangles and mats. Add in moisture, dirt, sweaters, blankets, and everyday activity, and those tangles can become difficult or even impossible to safely brush out.

And once a coat is severely matted, your groomer may have no choice but to take it much shorter than you originally wanted. 😭✂️

So if you want that fluffy winter coat, keep it on a routine!

🐾Stay consistent with professional grooming
🐾Brush regularly at home
🐾 Make sure you’re brushing all the way to the skin
🐾 Pay extra attention to behind the ears, armpits, legs, and sanitary areas
🐾 Keep the coat clean and dry
🐾 Talk with your groomer about the length you want and how to appropriately maintain it.

And now for another winter favorite…

“My dog is shaking because their haircut is too short!”
Sometimes… they’re shaking because IT’S COLD! 😂❄️ truth is, your house temp may not change. It may even be adjusted to warmer. If they live inside, this is the temp you need to consider more when choosing their haircut, over the outdoor temps.

A longer haircut can provide some extra warmth, but it doesn’t make your dog immune to cold temperatures. When it’s chilly outside, consider shorter outdoor time, and other appropriate cold weather precautions.

Want to keep more length this winter? Don’t stop grooming, maintain it! ❤️

A healthy, clean, mat free coat will always be more comfortable than a long, neglected one.

🆘 UPDATE.... We have not moved ANYTHING TODAY. The Pyrenees, and the black and white puppy, are VERY urgent. We are at the last little while to get something out now. Adoption or rescue. No, we won't just hand them out. But we need space. Please keep sharing!

If you can find it in your heart to donate... I'm going to put their info up here! Donations go to rescue partners directly we do not handle donations for Rescues!

URGENT!!!! Is there anyone able to help. We have NO ROOM for incoming animals. The Pyrenees need out and the little white and black puppy TODAY. We have no one pulling these and we need kennels opened. 🆘 PLEASE SHARE. Pyrenees mixes are large and seem to be about 2 years old. Females. The male puppy is about 6-7 months.
