Yesterday was a bitter sweet moment. Forest found his forever home. But the best part is he's right down the road so I can go and visit him any time I want! I love being able to watch him continue to grow up into such an amazing and handsome boy.

Update on Lillys breeding. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a dog sitter and with how romulus wasn't able to tie with Montana I'm choosing not to breed Lilly and just spay and retire her when she's done with her heat cycle. Fingers crossed we have babies on board with Montana. I'll be posting updates on both Lilly and her surgery and of course Montana as time goes on.

EDIT: Due to my dog sitter not being able to watch my crew while I'm gone I'm currently on the hunt for a dog sitter. This being the case I'm unsure if we will be able to get Lilly down to GA and back for the planned breeding I've listed below. Things never seem to go as planned no matter how much you plan for things something always seems to come up and force a change. I do firmly believe everything happens for a reason but it is truly upsetting to think we may not get the pairing we have planned for her retirement litter. All this being said I will keep everyone posted on the plans to come in the coming days. If all else fails and I can't get her to GA, Donna has agreed to allow me to use her stud Romulus who is out of Athena X Diesel. Stay tuned for updates.

And the babies keep coming! Lilly is now in heat and will be bred in the coming week or so. Super excited for this pairing as this is Lilly retirement litter. We will be using Kaizer of Debruce Danes for her final litter. Will be expecting solids and spots in fawn, and standard. All will carry for blue. POL is reserved for the stud owner, all other picks will be open for reservations AFTER pups are born.

As I've seen a LOT of Danes young and old being rehomed and or surrendered to a shelter. Any and all my dogs/pups go on a return contractm IF for ANY reason you can't keep the dog or need to rehome them they NEED to come back to me as a reminder everyone signs a contract stating this. Now if it's due to a living situation and you need them to be fostered for a month or two I'm ALWAYS happy to foster one of my past pups. I'm also happy to help you keep them any way I can. I understand life happens and sometimes we all need help. Don't be afraid to reach out!

So last minute change of plans. As things don't always go the way you plan, especially in the breeding world. After trying multiple times to get a tie between Romulus and Montana and all being failed attempts. I have decided to use Max as a stud for Montana. I'll be expecting blues and lilacs in solids. 1st due date is Aug 6th 2026

WHAT A BREEDER NEVER SAYS OUT LOUD....!!!!

🤔 People often think that a breeder lives among perfect dogs. But they forget everything that goes into bringing these little miracles into the world. Photos are sweet, but the reality is intense and demanding.

✨ Every birth is a lottery.
You can prepare, plan, and study everything… but not a single delivery goes exactly as hoped.
Every time it feels like the first time, even after years of experience.

😢 Death is our greatest enemy.
A bitch who develops complications, a puppy that doesn't make it…

It happens unexpectedly and breaks your heart every time.

✨ Using a good stud dog costs money and effort.
Travel expenses, matings, tests, nighttime care…

And then hoping that everything goes well: diarrhea, infections, stunted growth.
Breeding is an investment: financial, emotional, and physical.

✨Bottle feeding? Cute, yes… for the first five minutes.

But after that, feeding every 2–3 hours, day and night, for weeks.

That is pure survival mode, with a whole lot of energy as salvation.

🤦‍♀️ People often view puppies as “business”:

“Number of puppies × price = profit!”

But they forget the:

• Health & Genetic testing
• Matings
• Shows
• Training
• Nutrition
• Veterinarian
• Care and hygiene
• Photoshoots, advertising, websit
• Kilograms of food and mountains of poop!!🙈

What is left? Rarely a gold bar. Let alone a decent hourly wage 😁

😴 Sleepless nights are inevitable.
No weekends, no vacation, no break.

🤫 Who really raises the puppies?

The bitch… AND the breeder.
Every small infection can threaten an entire litter.

😬 And the question “Why is it so expensive?”

If we got a euro for every time…

The dogs would be eating caviar instead of kibble or meat.

😵‍💫 Future owners always make us worried.
A puppy isn't a package you just send off.
We choose adopters carefully; sometimes we refuse, sometimes we wait longer.

🫥 Emotional fatigue?
You almost never see that.
The pressure, the responsibility, watching over every detail…

And the loneliness during an emergency.

🤐 Sometimes we want to quit.
After loss. After setbacks. After exhaustion.

And then a pup opens its little eyes… and everything starts all over again.
It is a passion that never lets you go!

🙏 The grief of loss…

We rarely talk about that.
But with every farewell, a piece of us dies with them. Yet we rise again, for the puppies that still need a home.

🥰 Yes, there are beautiful moments.
Yes, there is immense joy.
But behind every experienced breeder lies a path full of sleepless nights, tears…

And an unconditional love for these special animals.♥️🥰♥️

CONSIDERING looking for guardian homes for 2 of my boys. They are NOT an issue here and get along with each other ect I have ZERO issue keeping them. The ONLY reason I'm even considering this is due to Ava being returned and needing to spend more time focusing on her rehab. Max is almost 2 yes old, house and crate trained, good with other dogs males and females and good with cats. Would do best in a home with older kids or no kids, Forest is much younger ( 16weeks old) working in crate training but doing very well. Also good with other dogs males and females and cats as well. These boys are NOT free. You MUST live within 6 hrs one way of Jamestown TN. This opportunity is for GUARDIAN HOMES ONLY. What this means is I retain any and all breeding rights and half ownership until they are retired from my program. At that point full ownership would transfer to you AFTER they have been retired and fixed. There will be a contract that would need to be signed and I MUST be able to view your house via in person or video call to see living conditions of where they will be staying. If this is something you're interested in feel free to reach out to discuss more I'm detail.

Considering letting this handsome boy go. While he doesn't have to leave he's perfectly fine here I wanted to see if there would be any interest in him as I have his father and nephew in my home and I have his full brother in a outside home available for stud use. Max is almost 2 yrs old, genetic Health Tested fully clear, color tested as well( carries chocolate and blue) is good with other dogs males and females. He is intact so can go on limited or full. He ideal home will have older children ( due to size) or no children. He's also good with cats as well. He's very protective of him home and family but super friendly and outgoing as well so the perfect mix. He is house and crate trained as well as walks on a leash * does require a prong collar to walk like a gentleman* again he does NOT have to go I have ZERO issues with him. If interested feel free to reach out!
