🚨PREVENTION IS KEY TO PREVENT SUFFERING🚨

In one week we have treated numerous pets for severe disease that is easily preventable 😢. Feline respiratory disease, canine parvovirus, pyometra, and malignant mammary cancer just to name a few!

Below is a highlight of how severe some of these illness can be without early intervention.

🐱 Did you know feline calicivirus is one of the most common and contagious viruses affecting cats?

Calicivirus can cause painful mouth ulcers, sneezing, eye discharge, fever, limping, and severe upper respiratory infections — especially in kittens, senior cats, and unvaccinated cats. In some cases, it can even become life-threatening.

The good news? Vaccination is one of the best ways to protect your cat and help reduce the spread of disease in the feline community. Even indoor cats can be at risk through exposure on clothing, shoes, carriers, or contact with other pets.

Keeping your cat current on vaccines is a simple step that can make a huge difference in their long-term health and comfort. 🩺💙
