Did you know that properly trimmed nails should NOT touch the ground? Nails that are overgrown can actually over time change your dogs gait, contribute to arthritis and misalignments in the joints!

Ember our day train student has been working on foot handling and trimming and we finally hit the goal today of no clickity clackity nails!

The easiest way to achieve truly healthy short nails is using a dremmel and taking off small amounts a couple days per week until you reach the correct length and shape for your dog!

Happy belated GOTCHA day to our ever spicy, Billie! The one that you’d never believe is a small dog, forever keeps us laughing, helps keep puppies in line and never misses a chance to get smuggled in on vacation when her mom swore the place was pet friendly 🤦🏻‍♀️😬
