Congratulations to our trainer Ava & her own Chevelle Z aka Ben on a great first rated show! πŸŽ‰ These two jumped around multiple times each day with each round getting stronger & more confident! It’s been a very difficult & unconventional road with Ben but your patience & perseverance with him is finally paying off! Ben had been passed around his entire life, figuring out how to scare amateurs, unseat the trainers, & outmaneuver their cowboys, when he got to us he was one of the most unpredictable horses I’ve had in my barn. Which says a lot because the bulk of my 20s was spent working with horses other ppl were unwilling to. 🀠 Ava has poured countless hours of blood, sweat, & tears into this horse and has done the work that all the others were unwilling or unable to do. πŸ‘πŸ» There have been lots of hard days but you kept showing up for him and kept doing the work. These are the types of horses that make us dig deep and define who we want to be as horsewomen. Do you pass the buck to someone else? Or do you acknowledge the fear and figure it out anyway? This industry is full of professionals who can only ride finished show horses and will quickly step off one that’s acting up instead of addressing it. πŸ™„ I am proud to say that you are turning into the gritty, sensitive, & dedicated horse trainer that the horse industry was truly built on and I am here for it!

🚜🚧 Sultan & Erika conquered the main ring last week at Fall Classic! This ring can be intimidating & distracting for the youngsters to transition into and I couldn’t be more proud of how brave & composed Sultan was last week! These two jumped around the 1m amateurs and had some fantastic rounds!
