🐶💨 Why Does My Dog Sigh?
You know the sound…
Your dog circles around, flops down beside you, puts their head on their paws and lets out the biggest sigh imaginable.
Huuuuuuuh. 😮💨😂
So what are they trying to tell you?
Often, a sigh from a relaxed dog is exactly what it looks like—a sign that they’re settling down, comfortable and content. Think of it as their version of, “Ahhh…this is nice.”
Of course, dogs can also sigh when they’re bored, disappointed or trying to get your attention. The best clue is the rest of their body language.
Relaxed body, soft eyes and lying comfortably? ❤️
Chances are you’ve got one happy, content pup.
But we have to ask…
Does your dog give you the big dramatic sigh like they’ve just finished a 12-hour shift and paid the mortgage? 😂🐾
