Meet Misha! 😍🐾
This gorgeous Mini-Bernedoodle visited the Pymatuning area with her family for their 45th anniversary — and we were so honored to be called on to help!
Her mom shared the most beautiful words about her experience with Barks to Meows:

"My husband and I were renting an Air BNB in the Pymatuning area for our 45th anniversary. Misha, our Mini-Bernadoodle joined us on vacation. There were a couple days she couldn't be with us all day. Barks to Meows to the Rescue!! They provided a complimentary meet and greet and made sure Misha wasn't alone for more than a few hours! Their care was above and beyond a potty break and feeding! Misha got a refreshing walk, a time of affection and assurance! She loved these ladies immediately and I could not have asked for any more perfect or loving care! After each visit I received a report with photos. This was especially comforting to me, as I always feel sad to leave her alone."

Summer is almost here and our calendar is filling up fast — now is the perfect time to get on the schedule!

At Barks to Meows Pet Sitting LLC, we offer fun drop-in visits for dogs and cats, along with dog walking services, throughout most of Ashtabula County. We're based in Conneaut, and my team and I are proud to serve many of the surrounding communities as well.
A little about us — Barks to Meows has been caring for pets since 2019, and we're proud to be a team that takes this work seriously. We are Pet CPR and Pet First Aid certified, and we have also successfully completed Pet Care Team Training pet sitter and dog walking certification courses.
For us, pet care is about more than just stopping by. It's about building trust, providing dependable care, and making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after while you're away.

Yay!!! The Gus we loved and had a blast with was adopted!!!

It was another great week for adoptions at the APL!🐾

Congratulations to Dutch, Hyacinth, Annabelle, Gus, and Tinkerbell on their adoptions! ⭐

Not pictured but also adopted were Ezra, Curly, Nibs, Toutiles, Brittany, Baby, Felicia, and Henrietta !

Sometimes our pups need a village...

Devo is a wonderful superstar dog who has been overlooked time and again for several months with us. A staff and volunteer favorite, friendly with everybody he has met, and just patiently waiting for his big day.

We knew he would make some family very happy but we just couldn't get the right eyes on him. So, what could we do?
Well, the behavior coordinator of the Lake Humane Society recently came to visit our facility and consult with us on policies and procedures. She met Devo and he made quite an impression on her.

Long story short, thanks to our wonderful transport volunteers who donate their time and mileage to us, Devo was transported to the Lake Humane Society. LHS is a fantastic facility and Devo will get a lot of new eyes on him there. We are sure he is in the best hands and will use his inherent charm to convince others of his awesomeness very quickly.
This is what cooperation, teamwork, and mutual support looks like.
