Tallgrass Veterinary Hospital Friendly, full-service veterinary care and 24 hour emergency service. We provide full-service medical and surgical services for both large and small animals.

We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies. Our small animal hospital offers wellness exams, vaccinations, routine and advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery including TPLO and bone plating,digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house laboratory for blood testing, hospitalization and a fully-stocked pharmacy. Our large animal hospital provides in-house (indoor) routine herd hea

lth procedures, a calving and surgical facility, reproductive ultrasound, radiology and hospitalization pens. We can also provide any and all of these services on-farm as well. Our equine facility offers an indoor set of stocks that can be used for minor surgical procedures, laceration repairs, reproductive services, teeth floating and all routine care as well. We also offer lameness exams for both ranch and show horses with x-rays as needed.

Our summer intern spotlight continues with Dakota! ☀️💛

Dakota has been such a wonderful addition to our team this summer. She was always ready to jump in and help, and she brought her cheerful smile with her every day! We’re so thankful for all of her hard work and everything she contributed this summer.

Next up, Dakota is heading to Colby Community College to pursue her degree in veterinary nursing! 🐾🩺 🐄🐴We’re so excited for her as she starts this next chapter and can’t wait to see all that she learns and accomplishes.

Best of luck, Dakota! We’ll miss you and are cheering you on every step of the way! 💕

✨ Meet Our Summer Interns! ✨

This summer, we've been fortunate to have an amazing group of interns learning and growing alongside our team at Tallgrass Veterinary Hospital. Over the next few weeks, we'll be highlighting each of them and celebrating all they've contributed to our clinic.

🐾 First up: Alexis! 🐾

Alexis will be a third-year veterinary student this fall at the K-State College of Veterinary Medicine, and we are so grateful she chose to spend her summer with us. Her enthusiasm, hard work, and willingness to learn have made her a wonderful part of our team.

Thank you, Alexis, for all you've done this summer! We wish you the very best as you head back to K-State for another exciting year of veterinary school. We can't wait to see all you'll accomplish! 💜

Happy Friday from Eden! 💕🐴
This little cutie stole our hearts when she came to stay with us after her mom (Jolene) became ill with hepatitis. We're happy to share that her mom has made a great recovery and is back to feeling like herself—and taking wonderful care of this sweet little gal!
