Dana, an artist and illustrator from an early age, started tattooing in 2005. With a path that’s been both long and unconventional, he brings 20+ years of expertise to his craft. Dana blends his wealth of experience with a fresh approach. Known for his adaptability across styles, he gravitates toward illustrative and graphic designs that feature saturated color, as well as cartoon, comic-inspired work, and richly detailed black-and-grey pieces.

Sashi spent 6 months waiting for a forever home!

As they say 1 year human years= 7 dog years

3.5 doggy years waiting 🐕🐕🐶🐶🐾🐾

Sashi was taken care of very well by the SPCA staff and volunteers. We can vouch for that, every time we went in to volunteer Sashi was happy and taken care of.

Even though we are a cat cafe we love all walks of life!

Brittany started her tattoo career in 2012 and opened Lunar Ink in 2020. Her favorite things to tattoo are plants and animals, and she enjoys both color and black and grey. When she’s not tattooing, she is either teaching, training, or performing aerial arts or hanging out with her 3 dogs.

✨ Meet the Artist: Abby Randall ✨

We’re so excited to have Abby being apart of our fundraiser tattoo event supporting our cat café! 🐾

Abby is a tattoo artist at Lunar Ink Tattoo who recently completed her 2-year apprenticeship and has been tattooing on skin for just over a year. While she loves exploring all styles and taking on new creative challenges, her specialty shines through in illustrative work with earthy colors and organic detail.

Her favorite subjects include florals, botanicals, animals, insects, fantasy imagery, and beautiful oddities, all heavily inspired by Art Nouveau, Romanticism, and Neo-Traditional art styles. 🌿🪲✨

Abby also graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts from Manchester Community College in May 2025, after studying Art History at University of New Hampshire and Creative Media at Champlain College.

Even though we’re a cat café, there’s one very special dog who completely stole our hearts while volunteering at Pope Memorial SPCA. 🐾❤️

Meet Sashi.
Taylor and I, wanted to share him because he truly deserves a loving home. Sashi has been waiting in the shelter for OVER SIX MONTHS. That’s a long time for any dog to wait for someone to choose him.

We wish we could bring him home ourselves, but because we both have cats, we unfortunately can’t. So we’re asking our community to help us spread the word and help this sweet boy finally find his family. Please share this post, tag someone, or send it to anyone looking for a dog like Sashi.

Sashi is a 6-year-old Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He’s friendly, outgoing, affectionate, playful, highly trainable, and loves meeting new people. He knows basic commands, walks politely on leash, and absolutely loves outdoor adventures like hiking, exploring, and being active with his person.
He’d do best in a cat-free home and would thrive as the only dog, though with thoughtful introductions he may be able to live with a compatible canine companion. He prefers older children (12+) who can respect his space and match his energy.

The shelter staff love him deeply and take wonderful care of him, but a shelter is still not a home. Sashi deserves a couch to curl up on, adventures with his family, and someone who will love him forever.

Please help us get Sashi seen. One share truly could change his life. 🐶🤍

A little update from us ❤️

After speaking with attorneys and looking further into things, we’ve learned that we do need to change our café name due to another New Hampshire entity that used a similar name in the past. While this honestly makes us sad, because the name felt so right to us, we also believe everything happens for a reason, and maybe this is part of a bigger purpose for our café and community.

Instead of looking at this as just a setback, we want to turn it into something special and something very us… involving the community that has supported us from the beginning.

So officially… we’re opening up our café naming process to YOU. 🐾☕

We’re asking everyone to submit ONE name idea, your absolute best one. To help your name have the best chance of being chosen, we ask that before submitting it, you:
• Search Google
• Search social media
• Check the federal trademark database through the USPTO
to make sure the name isn’t already being used or protected.

We’ll leave submissions open for TWO WEEKS.

Once submissions close, the owners will go through every single suggestion and choose our Top 10 favorites.

Then we’ll bring it back to the community for the final voting round to help decide the Top 5 names. We will leave this open for ONE WEEK.

• The grand prize winner whose name is chosen will receive a very special prize from us
• Runner-ups (2nd–5th place) will receive prizes as well

Even though this wasn’t the path we expected, we truly believe something good can come from it. This café has always been about community, transparency, second chances, and building something together, and now the name itself gets to be part of that story and our history.

Hey everyone! Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there! 💐

Today we wanted to take a moment to spotlight the moms who mean so much to us. We’re making two separate posts because these women deserve all the love and recognition.

First up is Heather- Taylor’s mom, biggest supporter, and one of the most important people in our lives. ❤️

She’s been there for Taylor since before she was even born. She always said she wanted six kids… but after two she decided, “Yeah, I think I’m good.” Even so, she never stopped being a mom to everyone around her. Over the years she’s treated her kids’ friends like family, and later in life she happily gained a bonus kid too.

She’s important to us for so many reasons beyond simply being “Mom.” Of course she proudly shows off everything we make and sell, which means the world to us, but what truly matters is the life and passions she helped create.

She introduced Taylor to the lake when she was just a baby, and from that moment on, being near the water became a lifelong love. She also helped grow her love for animals. There was always at least one cat in the house, and that first special bond with a cat became the beginning of a deep love for animals of all kinds.

She also introduced her to one of her favorite places in the world, a waterfall so meaningful that it became the location of her first date with her husband and eventually the place they got married. 💕

And those are just a few of the memories. There were also the little things that matter just as much comforting nightmares, calming down bee sting meltdowns (there were a lot), walks in the woods, surprise parties, horrible jokes, breakups, graduations, handwritten letters, and those special random “skip school” days spent together once a year.

She’s also been there through the really hard moments in life helping carry the big stuff, always seeming to know the right thing to say, even when there are no perfect words and when there’s nothing to say at all, she’s the person who will simply sit beside you while you cry your eyes out and make sure you never feel alone. ❤️
