The first ever Fur Missile First Aid course was a total success! We got to instruct our wonderful K9 handlers in everything from the canine physical exam to how to handle a pneumothorax. We concluded the day with a performative evaluation in our Down Dog Room, a CPR panic room if you will, where they got to put their new skills to the test. Awesome job, men! Big thanks to our instructors from the Maverick Surgery team, and thank you Concord Police K9 for hosting us 🐕 🐾 🚑 🏥

A few days and 2 very successful surgeries after you thought your cat maybe ate a tiiiny bit of ribbon and your dog who ate who knows what but she ain’t right. Maverick was blessed to get these two offenders home and healthy for the holidays 🎉🥰

We’ve saved the lives of 30 furry family members that otherwise would have been lost, and saved 11 limbs that would otherwise have been amputated. Thanks to our outstanding community of referral hospitals, and to everyone who’s supported our mission so far!! Keep spreading the word!🦮🐈‍⬛💙💛

After being dumped at a shelter with a badly fractured leg, and thanks to the outstanding efforts of Woof Tribe Rescue, this playful young pup was saved and transported to Maverick Veterinary Surgery for surgical repair of his femur. May you only know love from here on out, handsome pupper 💙 🩵
