Thank you to everyone who has been giving our team of amazing Veterinary Technicians extra love this week! 🐾💕

The job of the technician is nowhere near easy. It takes physical, mental and emotional strength and tolls every day. We are incredibly lucky to have such a strong, dedicated team and consider them to be some of the best technicians in the state.

One of the ways we celebrated our technicians was by arranging a traveling coffee truck to come to the hospital so they could get some fresh air and pick their own gourmet caffeinated beverage (because almost everyone in vet med lives on caffeine!).

Big shout out to Rita with Idexx who helped bring this idea to fruition and to Stacy and Holly at Travelin' Tom's Coffee of East Hillsborough County for working with us and giving our team some of the best coffee they have ever had.

This week is NATIONAL VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK, and we are celebrating our amazing team of Certified Veterinary Technicians.
Most of our team has been with us since before our doors opened, helping us organize and build our hospital. We have grown significantly since then, expanding hours and days, adding more veterinarians, technicians and client service representatives. Since our opening in February 2025, we have had the privilege of caring for almost SIX THOUSAND pets. Without our technicians, this would not have been possible.
Our technicians pour their love and knowledge into each of their patients, regardless of how routine or complicated the case is. They speak with each client to understand their concerns, support each pet parent through the sometimes difficult decisions they make, examine each patient, discuss each case with the veterinarian, hold each patient, obtain samples and run any bloodwork or diagnostics required, take radiographs, monitor each patient that undergoes sedation or anesthesia, clean wounds, prep surgical sites, fill medications, and the list goes on and on. They exhaust themselves every shift caring for their patients like they are their own pets.
To every one of our technicians: Ashley, Becca, Heather, Ivy, Jamie, Jenna, Kate, Krystle, Lacey, Molly, Rachael, Sarah, Sarah, and Skeats, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are the dream team, and we are beyond grateful for all you do every day for our patients, clients, team and community.

🚧 The Ralph Pill Building is undergoing construction and our front parking spots are blocked off, but we are still OPEN! Please continue farther into the lot and park in any unmarked spot. If you need help bringing your pet into our hospital, or need to drop them off at our front door before parking, please let us know. Our team will gladly help.
