For the health and safety of everyone, we are currently limiting the number of visitors in our shelter at any given time. Masks are required inside the shelter, however we do not require them while visiting outside. All visitors will be asked to sign in.

A very good week for adoptions.

25 animals found homes this week, including Rosie, a group of kittens, and the birds Lulita and Semsema, who were adopted at our Blue Seal event in Hillsborough this weekend.

And a special story to share about those two birds: the owners of Blue Seal actually adopted them to become part of the store! We couldn't think of a more fitting place for them to land.

From cats and dogs to guinea pigs and birds, we're celebrating every single adoption from the past week. Thank you to everyone who opened their home to an animal in need.

And as August comes to a close, so does Clear the Shelters. 59 animals found homes through the shelter this month. We're grateful for every adoption — and we're not slowing down. There are still plenty of animals waiting for their turn.

Happy National Dog Day!

Around here, every day is a dog day but today gives us another reason to celebrate the incredible pups who come through our doors.

Some are goofy. Some are shy. Some want to be your adventure buddy, while others would happily claim a spot beside you on the couch. But they all have one thing in common: they’re waiting for someone to choose them.
